What to Expect

Getting started is simpler than you think

Starting therapy can feel like a big step. Here's exactly what the process looks like — no surprises, no pressure, just a clear picture of what to expect from the first message to ongoing sessions.

The Process

Here's what getting started looks like

1

Reach out — online or in Denver

Schedule online, send a message, or give me a call. No pressure, no commitment.

2

Free 15-minute consultation

A chance for us to get to know each other and make sure we're a good fit before committing to anything. We'll talk about what's bringing you in and what you're hoping to get out of therapy.

3

Your first session

We'll go deeper — your history, what's brought you here, and what you're hoping to get out of therapy. It's a conversation, not an intake form. If we meet by telehealth, I'll send you a secure link to join before your session. If we meet in person, we'll confirm the Denver office details before your appointment.

4

We go from there, at your pace

There's no set timeline. Therapy with me is collaborative — we'll follow a general plan but stay flexible, because life happens. Some sessions we'll dig into deeper work, others we'll focus on what's going on right now. The goal is always to challenge and support you in equal measure.

A few things to know

Cancellation policy

I ask for at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations or missed sessions will be charged a $75 fee, except in cases of unforeseen emergencies.

Running late?

Please reach out as soon as possible. Arrivals more than 15 minutes late without notice may need to be rescheduled and will be considered a late cancellation.

Ready to take the first step?

You don't have to have it all figured out. Choose a time from Jenna's calendar or reach out with questions.
